Are you a people person who enjoys making others feel welcome? MainStreet Family Care is looking for a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Greeter to be the first point of contact for patients visiting our clinic. As a Greeter, you’ll help create a positive patient experience by welcoming patients, answering questions, and assisting them as they navigate the check-in and registration process.
You won’t be checking patients in for them — instead, you’ll be there to make sure they know what to do, have the help they need, and feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Greeters will also be cross-trained as Medical Assistants so they can provide clinical support when needed.
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and create a friendly, positive first impression
Greet patients as they arrive and help direct them through the check-in process
Assist patients with questions about the self-service check-in and registration kiosk
Provide guidance and troubleshooting when patients have difficulty navigating the kiosk
Help patients understand what information is needed to complete registration
Ensure patients know what to expect during the check-in process without completing registration on their behalf
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-clinic environment
Communicate with the clinical team when patients need additional assistance
Help maintain a smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic
Complete Medical Assistant cross-training and maintain competency in applicable clinical responsibilities
Assist with Medical Assistant duties when needed based on clinic staffing and patient volume
