Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, committed, and experienced Greeter to help grow our customer base and deliver exceptional customer service. The Greeter plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment. Ensuring all guests and customers have a positive experience. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact and face of the dispensary
  • Responsible for Opening and Closing procedures
  • Deliver high-end customer service experiences
  • Act as the primary source of information for customers
  • Maintain compliance with cannabis regulations
  • Enforce 21+ entry requirements
  • Assist individuals with disabilities with the doors
  • Verify all guests and contractors are signed in before entry
  • Maintain an organized front desk area and Greeters Box
  • Cleaning of high-traffic areas inside and outside
  • Monitor security systems and report issues
  • Log customer service and safety incidents
  • Resolve conflicts with professionalism
  • Assist emergency personnel as needed
  • Uphold company policies, compliance requirements, and operational standards at all times
  • Provide high-end hospitality
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude
  • Inform customers of products and promotions
  • Understand cannabis products and safety
  • Handle confidential information
  • Remain flexible and team-oriented
  • Monitor company communications daily

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating customer exit bags
  • Mitigating trash in the front entrance

Qualifications

  • Must be 21+
  • Pass background checks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Establishment Agent registration through the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC)

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, crouch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the duration of scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to work in vault storage areas and retail sales floor environments with frequent movement between departments.
  • Must be comfortable handling and organizing inventory in a highly regulated retail cannabis environment.
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Education & Prior Experience: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
