Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Grill Cook to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As our Grill Cook you will be responsible:
- Prepping and preparing meals, and following all kitchen safety and healthcare guidelines.
- Set up and maintain work stations through meal service.
- Complete all the prep work for the next day on your assigned workstation and assist others.
- Complete daily workstation cleaning checklist, ensuring it is cleaned and sanitized before end of shift.
- Complete all required logs and documents for your assigned area, complying with state, federal, and hospital guidelines.
The working hours are between 6am-7:30pm Monday-Friday and you will have to work every other weekend 6am-2:30pm and some holidays. This will be a temp to hire position for the right candidate and pay will be $14+ DOE with an excellent benefits package once you become eligible.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following:
- 2 years of commercial cooking experience in a restaurant.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 20 pounds.
- Ability to work between the hours of 6am-7:30pm.
- Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.
