Grinder/Machine Operator
We are looking for a dependable night shift team member to join our team in Cortland, Ohio. This role is perfect for someone mechanically inclined, eager to learn machine operation, and skilled in reading micrometers accurately. Hours: Monday through Thursday, 3pm3am (2nd Shift)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Learn and operate a Morgoil product grinder (training provided)
Perform in-process checks to ensure quality and accuracy
Measure parts using micrometers and record results
Make basic machine adjustments as trained
Follow safety and quality procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate effectively during shift handoff and with supervisors
Minimum Requirements
Ability to read micrometers
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work MonThurs, 3pm3am
Safety Boots
Nice to Have Skills
Prior machine operating, grinding, machining, or manufacturing experience
Experience with other measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
Preferred Education and Experience
No specific degree required; experience in manufacturing or machining is a plus
