Integrity Trade Services is IMMEDIATELY hiring for a Grinder Material handler position in Joliet, IL The company manufactures steel for construction companies
Duties and responsibilities
Role Summary: The Plasma Material Handler is responsible for handling components of stock and customer material. While maintaining top quality in the products produced.
Essential Responsibility:
Perform final stages of grinding and finish material in the plasma department.
Operate grinding equipment.
Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
Communicate effectively with coworkers to endure efficient production deadlines are met.
Assist the Plasma Operators with material production.
Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
Basic computer skills
Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Detail-oriented, excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 50 LBS.
Preferred Requirements:
High school diploma/GED.
Familiar with plasma equipment and machinery.
Prior experience in a production setting.

IL Paid Leave for All Workers
An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave
401(k) with company match for eligible employees.
Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work. The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
