Qualifications:
Grinding experience would be a plus
6%2B months of Manufacturing/production experience required
Need to be comfortable standing their full 8 hour shift minus breaks

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Grinder; both manually and CNC operated. Hold tight tolerances and surface finishes to produce quality parts.
Basic reading and understanding of blueprints
Use micrometers and indicators
Measure an increment as small as 0.0001 (1/10,000)
Identify abnormalities in machining process (i.e., tool wear, surface finish, foreign object debris)
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines

What type of materials will the operator be grinding - grinding of molded Thermoset materials used in the Aerospace and Industrial industries.
What are the main tasks this operator will perform daily - This position is responsible for either the operation of cylindrical grinding and honing, both manual and CNC, and/or surface grinding.
How many years of grinder OR general machine operation experience are required Grinding is not required BUT great if they have that experience already given the material, we make we know no one will have worked with it before.

Are there any weightlifting requirements( 50lbs) no more than 50 lbs without assistance
