Job Duties

• Grind and smooth metal parts by following work instructions.
• Check products to make sure they are made the right way.
• Use measuring tools to make sure parts are the correct size.
• Drive a forklift to move materials and finished products safely.
• Load, unload, and move materials where they need to go.
• Keep the work area clean, follow safety rules, and work with the team to meet daily goals.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements

• Previous grinding experience.
• Ability to accurately use micrometers and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or metal processing experience preferred.
• Experience grinding metal products is preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do

As a Grinder Operator you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
