Grinder Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a Grinder Operator to operate centerless grinding machines and support machining production while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be comfortable using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Schedule

• Primary Shift: 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM
• Training: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM on 1st shift

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain centerless grinding machines.
• Perform wheel changes and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
• Identify defective parts and quality concerns.
• Monitor production to help maintain equipment uptime and quality standards.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Grinding or machining experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work planned and unplanned overtime as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
