We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Grinding Machine Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Seneca, South Carolina. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring grinding equipment to produce high-quality components that meet customer specifications and company standards. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.Responsibilities
Set up and operate grinding machines according to production requirements and work instructions.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and dimensional accuracy.
Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace policies.
Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.
Ability to read measuring tools and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Experience operating grinding machines, CNC equipment, or precision machining equipment.
Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shifts available (must be able to train on 1st)Pay: $18.03 while training on 1st shift then $21.07 once placed on 2nd/3rd Shift #IND2
