Our clients is seeking a
CNC Grinding Operator with experience operating CNC or manual grinding equipment, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to accuracy. Experience in grinding is preferred, but not required.

Shift: - 1st: 6am-2pm Mon-Fri
- 2nd: 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri
After training candidates will switch to M-F 10 hour shifts. Candidates will work 50 hours each week Pay:- $18-$25+ an hour based on experience
- Experience with G Code will receive higher compensation then listed
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and manual grinding equipment, including ID, OD, centerless, surface, and form grinders, while selecting the appropriate wheels, tooling, feeds, and speeds to meet production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to produce precision components that meet tight dimensional, roundness, flatness, and surface finish tolerances.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make process adjustments.
- Document production and inspection data in accordance with ISO/AS9100 quality standards and collaborate with Quality and Production teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:- Experience operating CNC and/or manual grinding equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of centerless, ID, OD, surface, or form grinding processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Experience with G-code programming or editing is preferred; however, training will be provided for candidates willing to learn.
- Strong understanding of precision machining, tight tolerances, and the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a quality-focused manufacturing environment, preferably within ISO and/or AS9100 standards.
