The Grit Blast Operator on the 3rd shift is responsible for cleaning industrial equipment components using grit blast equipment and operating forklifts to move parts.
They will maintain equipment, ensure safety protocols, and prepare surfaces by abrasive blasting to remove contaminants such as rust, paint, and dirt.
Responsibilities include inspecting finished products for quality, reading plans and instructions, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong English skills, and the ability to pass drug and background screenings.
Preferred candidates have 2+ years of experience in grit blasting or industrial settings, knowledge of safety procedures, and experience operating manual and power equipment.
