Grocery Clerk

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team. The Grocery Clerk is responsible for stocking shelves, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, assisting customers, and ensuring products are displayed and priced correctly. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.ResponsibilitiesStock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise.Rotate products and monitor expiration dates.Ensure shelves and displays remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.Assist customers with locating products and answering questions.Operate cash register when needed.Maintain accurate pricing and promotional signage.Receive and unload deliveries.Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies.Keep stockroom and sales floor clean and safe.Report inventory shortages, damaged products, or safety concerns to management.Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous retail, grocery, or customer service experience is a plus.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic math and problem-solving skills.Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
