Grocery Front-End Manager

The Grocery Front-End Manager leads and supports the front-end operations of our grocery store, overseeing a team of 6 to 10 staff members. This role ensures efficient cashier operations, excellent customer service, and effective inventory management while maintaining compliance and minimizing losses. The manager utilizes POS systems to streamline processes and enhances team performance through training and development, all within a single store location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cashier operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts promptly
• Manage inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed
• Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure proper coverage
• Train and develop front-end staff to improve performance
• Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures
• Generate and analyze sales reports for operational insights
• Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Implement loss prevention strategies to reduce shrinkage
