Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the ground logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industry required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with customers, operations, and sales teams

Job Duties

  • Communicate shipment updates and special handling requirements to operations and sales teams
  • Provide customers with timely and accurate shipment status updates
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding shipment tracking, routing, delivery status, and charges
  • Coordinate with customers and the sales team to develop customer-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Follow up on sales leads generated from daily shipment activity and customer quotes
  • Assist with preparing customer quotes and providing exceptional customer support
  • Maintain accurate customer records and shipment documentation
  • Ensure timely communication across departments to support efficient logistics operations
  • Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned

As a Ground Logistics CSR you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position.
