Job TitleGround Up SuperintendentAbout Our ClientOur client is a growing and well-respected General Contractor specializing in commercial and industrial construction projects across New Jersey. Their portfolio consists primarily of ground-up and interior renovation projects ranging from $5 million to $15 million, with experience spanning self-storage, warehouse, commercial, industrial, and select mixed-use developments.Job DescriptionManage all daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel. Maintain project schedules and ensure work progresses according to established milestones. Conduct daily site walks to monitor quality, safety, productivity, and project progress. Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Serve as the primary field contact for subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure proper execution. Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and site logistics. Assist in the management and resolution of field issues, RFIs, and change orders. Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, and project documentation. Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, who will attend weekly site meetings and provide overall project oversight. Utilize Procore and other construction management software to track project documentation, schedules, and communication.
