Position Description: Culver-Stockton College invites applications for a part-time position (20 hours per week) as the Assistant Director of Innovation Alley to begin in August 2026. The purpose of this position is to support and grow activities within Innovation Alley, specifically on activities centered in the Maker Lab and Wildcat Warehouse. The Assistant Director will learn all equipment and software needed to operate the equipment. The Assistant Director will also actively assist in the Wildcat Warehouse operations, both point of sale and online. Capturing data about usage and creating marketing assets to promote Innovation Alley, including other labs as needed, is integral to the position.xa0

The Assistant Director will intentionally shadow and learn from the Director of Innovation Alley in preparation for advancement to that position. Holders of a Bachelor's degree will receive up to 18 hours of graduate tuition remission and be expected to complete a Master's degree within two years in order to be eligible to advance to the Director's role.xa0

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the operations of Maker Lab at designated times. n
  • Provide instruction to students through various delivery methods to safely operate the Maker Lab equipment. n
  • Oversee and monitor inventory within the Maker Lab under the supervision of the Director of Innovation Alley. Source supplies for projects as needed. n
  • Supervise and oversee the operations of the Wildcat Warehouse at designed times. n
  • Utilize Shopify software for point of sale and on-line sales, fulfilling orders as needed, and creating reports on sales.xa0 n
  • Collaborate with the Director of Innovation Alley on merchandise to be purchased or created for sale within Wildcat Warehouse. n
  • Along with the Director of Innovation Alley, oversee student workers in Innovation Alley.xa0 n
  • Collaborate with the Director of Innovation Alley to create social media posts and reels to grow viewership and interest in Innovation Alley.xa0 n
  • Maintain records of usage in the Maker Lab and Wildcat Warehouse while also collaborating with other users of labs within Innovation Alley to create usage reports.xa0 n
  • Assist in events held in the Maker Lab or Innovation Alley with other departments, including academics departments, admissions, and the administration. n

Qualifications:

  • The Assistant Director must have one of the following (at a minimum):n

Position Summary:

The GPS Recruitment & Retention Coordinator plays a key role in attracting, supporting, and retaining graduate and online learners at Culver-Stockton College. This entry-level position focuses on developing positive, service-oriented relationships with prospective and current students, as well as external partners. The Coordinator serves as a welcoming first point of contact, assists or directs students through or to the admissions and onboarding process, and supports student persistence through proactive advising and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Outreach

  • Demonstrates an understanding of current trends in higher education, including the expanding impact of graduate and online learning. n
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective graduate and online students. n
  • Respond to inquiries through email, phone, text, chat, and virtual/in-person appointments. n
  • Support the development and execution of recruitment events (virtual, on-campus, and employer-site). n
  • Assist with partnership development by engaging community organizations and employers. n
  • Represent Culver-Stockton College at fairs, presentations, and partner events. n

Student Onboarding & Retention

n

n

  • Guide admitted students through registration, orientation, and next-step enrollment processes. n
  • Maintain consistent communication with enrolled students to support persistence and program satisfaction. n
  • Monitor student progress and refer students to relevant campus resources when needed. n
  • Provide concierge-style support to enhance student belonging, motivation, and academic success. n

Data & Process Support

n

  • Use CRM and SIS platforms to track communication, application progress, and student milestones in collaboration with the Admissions Coordinator. n
  • Maintain accurate student records and follow FERPA compliance standards. n
  • Assist with reporting and enrollment or retention tracking as needed. n
  • Keeps current with C-SC policies, procedures, and curriculum changes. n
  • Attends the Graduate & Professional Studies meetings. n

Qualifications:

n

n

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (education, communication, business, psychology, marketing, or related field preferred). n
  • Experience in sales, recruitment, customer service, advising, coaching, or student support preferred. n
  • Experience working with online education, adult learners, or CRM/SIS systems preferred. n
  • Prior experience in higher education helpful, but not required. n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. n
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships. n
