Position Summary:

Grounds Crew must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.94

This position will remain open until June 5, 2026.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in mowing, trimming, and weeding 80 acres of property.
  • Maintain all mulch and flower beds.
  • Perform basic maintenance to landscaping equipment.
  • Mixing of paint and operation of painters.
  • Painting of a regulation NCAA football field (including gridiron, numbers, hashes, logos).
  • Setting and moving of string lines and stencils.
  • Assisting in the deployment of rain covers when needed.
  • Putting out pylons, sideline covers, goal post pads, and field goals nets.
  • Replacing of divots before and after pregame warm-ups.
  • Raising and lowering of field goal nets during game.
  • Removal of pylons, sideline covers, goal post pads, and field goal nets.
  • Fixing of any major divots.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work safely and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Previous experience preferred, but not required.
