This information describes the salaries and benefits available to classified employees of the Steilacoom School District.

CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES - Salary Information

Non-administrative, non-exempt classified employees are represented by the Steilacoom Classified Employees Association

Salary Agreements

Steilacoom Classified employees are paid by yearly prorated agreement.

How does this work?

Annual wages are projected based on the hourly rate, hours per day and days per year that a classified employee is scheduled to work. This amount is prorated and paid equally over 12 months from September through August.

Available Leaves

Sick Leave - 12 days per year (Accrued to a maximum of the number of contract days, not to exceed one year) Personal Leave - 3 days per year (Accrued to a maximum of 4 days) Vacation - (for year-round positions only) starting at 10 days per year. Please refer to CBA for accrual schedule. Other Leaves - please refer to the Bargaining Agreement
