Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of full-time labor and trades experience, including routine grounds maintenance.
• Skills: Knowledge of groundskeeping tools and safety precautions. Ability to operate tractors, trucks, and power tools.
• Requirements: A valid driver's license is required.
• Mandatory Background Check: Selected candidates must pass a rigorous TBI/FBI background check and fingerprinting, including child abuse records. Note: Any discrepancies in the background report will result in immediate disqualification.

The Grounds Keeper will perform semi-skilled maintenance and modification of campus grounds.

• Duties include lawn care (mowing, trimming), landscape maintenance (pruning, planting), trash removal, and general facilities support, including minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and painting.
• This is a labor-intensive role requiring the ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
