Grounds Maintenance

Primary responsibilities include maintaining the overall cleanliness of all exterior areas to include but not limited to all parking lots, driving range, St. Andrews, Pool Area, all cart paths. In addition, all maintenance issues and condition issues found in these areas must be immediately reported. This is a Full-Time position and pays $18.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of outdoors resort property such as but not limited to sidewalks, parking lots, trash receptacles, trash, leaves, and debris.
• Performs general maintenance work to ensure hotel and surrounding buildings maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained.
• Keep operational product inventory through resort requisition policies.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized backpack blower.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate water feed pressure washers.
• Have a thorough understanding of Buildings fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Pacific Palms Resort rules and regulations.
• Must be willing and able to be responsive with guest issues and willing to pitch in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Ability to safely drive a golf cart around the property
• Ability to operate some heavy machinery to include but not limited to gas powered blower, power washer and electric lift mechanisms.
• Demonstrate preparation for days work
• Proceed with work / repairs
• Clean up
• Fill out Daily Work Form
• Understand Resort emergency procedures
• Any and all reasonable requests of management

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic maintenance 
• Ability to speak, read & write English
• Good customer service and good communication skills
