PRIMARY FUNCTIONMaintains the roads and grounds at Gila Bend AFAF

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•     Pick up trash and or debris daily around Gila Bend AFAF, operate gas powered equipment to maintain lawns, trees, Palm trees, and brush,  
• (riding lawn mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, chain saws, edger’s, and etc.) remove weeds from rock and plant areas on base, patch asphalt roads, crack seal roads , and minor repairs to concrete walkways and drive ways. 
•     Repair and or replace sprinklers, and PVC irrigation lines.Other duties as assigned

  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  QUALIFICATIONS: 

•     High school diploma and or equivalentMust have at least one plus years of prior grounds maintenance experience
•     Obtain and maintain a government security clearance
