Job Description

TalentLogistiX is hiring dependable Landscaping Field Technicians for outdoor projects in Petersburg, Indiana.

Working under a Crew Foreman or Team Leader, Field Technicians will prepare jobsites, install landscaping materials, operate tools and equipment, and complete assigned work safely and efficiently.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and wants to develop experience in landscaping and land restoration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare jobsites and load, unload, and organize materials
• Perform rough, finish, and fine grading for seedbed preparation
• Plant trees, shrubs, seedlings, grass, and native vegetation
• Install mulch, stone, compost, silt fencing, and erosion-control materials
• Assist with invasive-species removal and vegetation management
• Support hardscape installation and general landscaping projects
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment based on training
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow instructions and company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Landscaping, construction, farming, groundskeeping, or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable performing physical work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and landscaping techniques
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a crew
• Safety-focused with basic communication and time-management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• OSHA or related safety training is a plus
