Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Must be available to work later as needed)
Duration: October 2 - October 11 (All 10 Days of the Fair)

Grounds Maintenance Worker Job Opening
Our client is seeking dependable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Workers to help keep the Fairgrounds clean, safe, and welcoming throughout the duration of the Fair. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Reliability and attendance are critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will:
- Collect trash throughout the Fairgrounds during each shift.
- Push and maneuver trash collection carts across the property.
- Empty trash receptacles as needed throughout assigned areas.
- Replace trash can liners after servicing containers.
- Maintain clean, safe, and presentable grounds for vendors and visitors.
- Monitor assigned areas and promptly remove litter and debris.
- Follow safety procedures while working in a high-traffic public environment.
- Assist with general site cleanliness throughout the Fairgrounds.
- Must be able to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to walk long distances throughout the shift.
- Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver trash carts.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Must be available to work October 2 through October 11
- Must be willing to work beyond 11:00 PM when needed, particularly during high-attendance evenings and weekends
