Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in horticulture, landscape management, or related field preferred

  • 3-5+ years of experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, with supervisory experience preferred

  • Knowledge of plant care, turf management, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques

  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel between sites if needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and use of equipment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with commercial or large-scale property maintenance

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

  • Certification in pesticide application or landscaping (if applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily grounds maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation, and seasonal clean-up

  • Manage and lead groundskeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management

  • Develop and implement landscaping plans to enhance appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces

  • Oversee the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in compliance with safety and environmental regulations

  • Inspect grounds regularly to identify issues and ensure quality standards are met

  • Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper water management

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and order supplies, materials, and equipment

  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and safely operated

  • Coordinate with clients, property managers, or internal stakeholders to address service needs and expectations

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
