JOB SUMMARY

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep of exterior property areas, including parking garages, casino grounds, elevators, and pool areas.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Mississippi driver's license
• Ability to obtain certification for forklifts and other lift equipment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and work flexible schedules (including nights, weekends, holidays)
• Must be 18 years of age or older, and must be able to pass a drug test
• Basic computer and equipment operation skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, walking, climbing stairs)
• Capable of working in extreme weather conditions and noisy environments
• Ability to operate machinery (e.g., sweepers, lifts, mowers) safely
• Tolerance for outdoor elements, smoke, and cleaning chemicals
• Must submit to a background check and drug screen during hire
• Clean and maintain parking garages, pool areas, and casino exterior grounds
• Collect and dispose of trash; empty receptacles across property
• Vacuum and clean elevator areas, stairwells, and related facilities
• Operate cleaning equipment and assist with general grounds maintenance
• Monitor areas for safety and compliance, including enforcing underage gaming policies
• Promote guest services, rewards programs, and property offerings
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests
• Clean and maintain parking garages, pool areas, and casino exterior grounds
