The Groundskeeper performs a full range of grounds maintenance and gardening duties. Assists in various related construction and landscaping projects. Prepares other special venues according to the users request or published specifications.
Essential Functions
30- Mows lawns, trims, prunes trees, fertilizes, maintains irrigation systems, waters, sweeps walkways, and building entry ways.
25- Performs herbicide and pesticide applications, digs trenches, cultivates plants, and transplants. Spreads mulch, rakes leaves, and removes debris.
20- Operates various grounds equipment such as tractors, mowers, edgers, trimmers, spreaders, aerators, top dressers, etc.
25- Moves equipment and outdoor fixtures. Operates parking lot sweepers and dump truck. Empties trash receptacles. Ensures safe working conditions.
