Job Overview:
The Groundskeeper represents Mystic Aquarium with a positive, can-do attitude and a teamwork-focused work ethic at all times. This role performs tasks and operates equipment associated with the establishment and maintenance of the facility's grounds, including weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and trimming Aquarium plantings, and ensures that all areas are kept clean, neat, safe, and litter-free.

Physical Demands:
This role is performed primarily outdoors on the aquarium grounds, requiring consistent walking and extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature changes. The position involves frequent close and distance vision, consistent hearing, and frequent verbal communication with guests and coworkers, along with some occasional work in confined areas, at heights, and around ladders, mechanical hazards, and cleaning agents. Employees must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed, move and operate grounds equipment, and occasionally drive, use computers, and use telephones as part of routine duties. Guest contact and collaboration with team members occur regularly throughout the workday.
