Mason Equity Group is seeking a dependable, hardworking Groundskeeper to help maintain the appearance, safety, and curb appeal of our growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties throughout the Dover and New Philadelphia market.

Position Details 

Position: Full-Time  

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM  

Compensation: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience  

Location: Dover, New Philadelphia, and surrounding communities  

What You'll Do 

As a Groundskeeper, you'll be responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance of multiple apartment communities, single-family homes, and commercial properties. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Mow lawns using both push mowers and zero-turn mowers  

• Remove weeds and maintain landscape beds  

• Trim grass around sidewalks, fencing, buildings, and landscaping  

• Perform seasonal leaf removal and general landscape cleanup  

• Complete snow removal and apply salt/deicer during winter weather  

• Pick up trash and debris throughout assigned properties  

• Power wash sidewalks, building exteriors, patios, and common areas as needed  

• Complete light exterior maintenance projects including painting, fence repairs, and general property upkeep  

• Inspect properties for safety concerns and maintenance issues and communicate findings to management  

• Help prepare communities for property walks, inspections, and new resident move-ins  

• Ensure every property consistently reflects Mason Equity Group's standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and curb appeal  

What We're Looking For 

Successful candidates will possess: 

• Valid driver's license  

• Reliable transportation  

• Ability to safely pull and maneuver a utility trailer preferred  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently  

• Ability to prioritize work across multiple properties  

• Dependability with excellent attendance  

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day  

• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions  

• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, lawn care, maintenance, or related experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate
