    Job Description

    Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Groundskeeper to support the appearance, safety, and overall upkeep of Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this hands-on landscaping and grounds maintenance role, you will perform mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, irrigation repairs, and seasonal property maintenance across campus. You will operate commercial groundskeeping equipment and help ensure the campus remains clean, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. During winter months, this team plays a critical role in snow and ice removal operations. This position works a regular Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexibility required during weather-related events.     Job Responsibilities

    • Perform mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and general landscape maintenance throughout campus grounds.
    • Maintain the appearance and safety of lawns, walkways, parking areas, and outdoor common spaces.
    • Assist with irrigation system repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
    • Operate commercial groundskeeping equipment including mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools.
    • Complete seasonal groundskeeping tasks such as leaf removal, planting, mulching, and debris cleanup.
    • Participate in snow removal and ice management operations during winter weather events.
    • Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on grounds equipment to ensure safe operation.
    • Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or property maintenance needs.
    • Follow all company and site safety procedures while working around equipment, pedestrians, and campus traffic.
    • Support a positive campus experience by maintaining high standards of appearance across university property.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 3-5 years of groundskeeping, landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor property maintenance experience.
    • Experience operating commercial groundskeeping and landscaping equipment.
    • Knowledge of mowing, edging, trimming, weed control, and general grounds maintenance practices.
    • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout all seasons.
    • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods.
    • Valid non-commercial driver's license.
    • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM.
    • Flexibility to assist with snow removal and weather-related operational needs outside of regular hours when required.

    Preferred

    • Experience with irrigation systems, repairs, and maintenance.
    • Experience maintaining or performing minor repairs on grounds equipment.
    • Previous experience supporting a university, campus, healthcare, municipal, or commercial property environment.
    • Knowledge of seasonal landscape maintenance and snow management operations.
