Job Summary

Helps maintain the grounds of the various Hospital properties following a planned grounds maintenance program. Helps monitor hospital properties for their irrigation, fertilization and pest control needs. Works with Lead to maintain a scheduled pressure washing regiment on hospital properties. Maintains landscaping tools and equipment and orders supplies as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Require experience working in the landscaping/grounds care field (primarily in grounds maintenance of large resort or institutional properties).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer familiarity with computers and related software (Windows Operating Systems).
• Prefer familiarity with codes applicable to field and industry.
• Prefer irrigation system maintenance / repair experience.
• Prefer proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Prefer the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Prefer working knowledge of hand tools pertinent to trade(s).
• Prefer three (3) years of experience, preferably in large plant operations.

Mandatory Education

HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
