Groundskeeper

Job Summary:

Helps maintain the grounds of the various Hospital properties following a planned grounds maintenance program. Helps monitor hospital properties for their irrigation, fertilization and pest control needs. Works with Lead to maintain a scheduled pressure washing regiment on hospital properties. Maintains landscaping tools and equipment and orders supplies as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- Requires experience working in the landscaping/grounds care field (primarily in grounds maintenance of large resort or institutional properties).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prefer familiarity with computers and related software (Windows Operating Systems).
- Prefer familiarity with codes applicable to field and industry.
- Prefer irrigation system maintenance / repair experience.
- Prefer proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Prefer the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Prefer working knowledge of hand tools pertinent to trade(s).
- Prefer three (3) years of experience, preferably in large plant operations.

Mandatory Education:

HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Preferred License and Certs:

FDL: Valid Driver's License
