Groundskeeper

Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our facilities team. This position involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of campus through general and specialized tasks such as cutting lawns, pruning shrubs and trees, cleaning grounds, removing litter, debris, and refuse and removing snow. Additional duties may include assisting other trades in the maintenance of fences, gates, walls and walks and moving furniture, staging, and other materials, including the setup of items. Special assignments may include refuse-recycling driver or pesticide applicator responsibilities. Must be comfortable operating a wide variety of hand tools, power equipment and vehicles, and following safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic math and reading comprehension
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. with assistance
  • Valid driver''s license required
  • Willingness to attend training and work weekends/overtime as needed

Pay: $20.31/hour per union contract; additional pay depending on assigned shift

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm. Dec 1 - March 31 hours change to 3pm - 11:30pm
