Groundskeepers maintain and beautify the campus grounds.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform all tasks related to grounds maintenance such as pruning, weeding, planting, chemical applications, mowing and watering.

2. Provide snow removal services.

3. Assist in setup and take down of special events.

4. Operate University equipment and vehicles in a safe manner during the performance of duties.

5. Lead assigned student crews.

6. Other tasks as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1 year of experience plus a high school diploma/GED - OR - at least 4 years of groundskeeping experience

A valid driver's license with favorable record

Candidate must be service oriented and possess the ability to demonstrate reading and writing comprehension and competency skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Snow plowing experience.

More than one year of groundskeeping experience.
