Overview:
Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We have recently moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry. As a result of our expansion, we are looking for a Groundskeeper to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Plants grass, shrubs, trees, and flowers.
• Installs and maintains water fountains, fences, gates, retaining walls, rock gardens, and other design features.
• Keeps outdoor furniture clean and in good repair.
• Applies mulch, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
• Maintains green spaces by weeding, trimming, and pruning.
• Removes unwanted or unhealthy plants, shrubs, and trees, as well as downed limbs.
• Operates hand tools and power equipment, including mowers, leaf-blowers, snowblowers, tillers.
• Waters lawns and gardens.
• Rakes leaves and other vegetation from lawns and flower beds.
• Removes trash and other debris from outdoor areas.
• Operates snow removal equipment and shovels walkways.
• Works with other maintenance crew and construction specialists as needed.
