Group Assistant Controller

Our Kforce client, located in the Saint Louis, MO area, seeks an Assistant Controller to serve as the financial leader to drive accounting excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, close, debt, equity, treasury, and financial reporting
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Analyze complex accounting matters, including acquisitions and technical accounting issues
• Oversee and develop a high-performing accounting team of 4 to 6 individuals
• Strengthen internal controls and financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Partner cross-functionally with tax, treasury, and operations teams
• Evaluate financial results, trends, and variances to support business decisions
• Stay current on accounting standards and recommend process improvements
