" Key projects: This role will contribute to supporting workspace and space management activities, maintaining organizational resources and floor plans, assisting with employee engagement efforts such as giving campaigns, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations across the supported teams.
Candidate Requirements
Provides general administrative support primarily for a group.
Coordinates meetings and events; department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility purchasing and operations.
Completes special projects as assigned. Enforces policies and/or procedures of the defined team(s).
Skills:
2-4 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
Highly effective communication and project management skills; willingness to assist members of a team, and ability to relate well with diverse individuals.
Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, remote global team support, and organizational skills are a hard requirement.
Working knowledge of email, scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software with experience using the current version of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) preferred. May require ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Explain a typical day in the role.:
This role will co-manage office space, expense report approvals, boots-on-the-ground support for a team that is split between Redmond and Taiwan/Romania, as well as one in Redmond, and organizational support around morale events, office moves, and hardware procurement.
What is the ideal background of a candidate for this role?:
This candidate must have experience with executives and their teams in order to know when to push back on outlandish requests for compliance with company policies and org practices; will get along with a team of onsite admins who manage large teams; can work independently on assigned projects with minimal oversight; strong in time management with proven track record meeting deadlines on time. Must have experience handling complex executive calendars in order to provide coverage for other admins when out of office.
