Group Class Instructor(flexible, as-needed)

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for on-call/substitute (number of hours working depends on demand and scheduling) Group Class Instructors to join the fitness team at our client site located in Alexandria, VA!

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as Yoga, Pilates, Strength, Dance, and/or Cycle.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $30/hr - $40/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
