UNFOLD is seeking an Group Director to help lead the Key Art practice at UNFOLD. This role is ideal for a strategic, client-focused account leader with deep experience in entertainment marketing and a strong understanding of key art campaign development and production workflows. The Associate Director will play a critical role in managing high-profile client relationships, driving cross-functional collaboration, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role

Client Leadership & Account Management

  • Serve as a senior day-to-day client lead across key entertainment accounts, building trusted relationships with studio, streaming, and network partners with a focus on key art campaigns.
  • Lead account management across campaigns, ensuring alignment between client objectives, creative output, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for organic account growth, cross-functional collaboration, and expanded service offerings.
  • Support leadership in maintaining a diversified client portfolio across entertainment categories.
  • Participate in client presentations, campaign reviews, and strategic discussions.

Creative & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Champion strong collaboration between account and creative teams while helping balance client expectations with creative excellence.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of key art workflows from concept development through finishing and adaptations.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across internal teams throughout campaign lifecycles.
  • Partner closely with producers, strategists, and creatives to support efficient execution and high-quality deliverables.

Operational & Business Management

  • Oversee scopes, schedules, deliverables, and budgets across assigned accounts.
  • Support resource planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency in partnership with leadership.
  • Help implement scalable workflows, communication structures, and best practices as the business grows.
  • Monitor account health, staffing needs, and delivery risks to ensure successful campaign execution.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and support junior members of the account team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, responsiveness, and strong client partnership.
  • Contribute to onboarding, training, and professional development across the Accounts function.
  • Help strengthen team processes and communication standards.

Business Development & Industry Awareness

  • Support new business efforts, pitch development, and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and relationships to help identify opportunities across film, television, streaming, and gaming.
  • Maintain awareness of entertainment marketing trends, key art innovation, emerging platforms, and evolving audience behaviors.

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in entertainment marketing, creative advertising, or agency account management.
  • Strong background in entertainment key art required; experience with integrated campaigns is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and support complex creative campaigns in fast-paced agency environments.
  • Strong understanding of creative production workflows, budgeting, scoping, and operational planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance creative excellence with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members preferred.
  • Existing entertainment industry relationships are a plus.
