Group Exercise Instructor

In search of

Part-time Group Exercise Instructors who can teach a variety of classestargeting adults at the Minerva Area YMCA

Available Hours

- Weekday mornings and/or evenings

- Saturday mornings

***Class times are flexible and can be discussed based on instructor availability and member needs***

Starting rate

$11.00 - $16.00

Qualifications

• Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide
• Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
• Able to teach multiple formats(gentle yoga, dance, etc) targeting older adults preferred

Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm
• Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants
• Serve as a good role model
• Communicate with team members
• Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide
