Group Facilitator OVERVIEW: A successful Group Facilitator will be an organized, proactive and responsive self-starter. They will have the ability to grab the attention of a room of people and guide them through content with ease. They will be approachable, understanding, and empathetic of the situations their group members are experiencing. They can provide structure and guidance when needed, while maintaining control of conversations and situations that may be uncomfortable for group attendees. Group Facilitators exude a calm confidence that inspires trust and fosters belonging in group situations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Facilitators conduct group sessions for patients. This role works independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of an integrating team. Our Facilitators: Are responsible for presenting skills and information to further our patients recovery Conduct group psychoeducation sessions with fidelity to the established curriculum Contribute Treatment Team meetings as needed Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone, especially on the treatment teams Work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management Do additional duties as assigned Report directly to the Clinical Director SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities COMPETENCIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
