Responsibilities:

Lead safe, energetic, and engaging dance-based group fitness classes.

Use dance techniques, choreography, rhythm, and musicality to create fun and effective workout experiences.

Adapt movements and routines to accommodate members of different fitness and dance experience levels.

Create a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages members to express themselves and enjoy movement.

Maintain all required certifications, education, and CPR credentials.

Understand and follow all Crunch policies, procedures, and group fitness standards.

Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand, our 7 Core Values, and our No Judgments philosophy.

Provide excellent member service and collaborate with Group Fitness Managers on class schedules, programming, and member engagement.

Special Skills:

Background in dance, choreography, stage performance, or movement-based instruction.

Strong sense of rhythm, musicality, and creative expression.

Ability to lead groups, teach choreography, and engage an audience.

Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.

Passion for helping others build confidence, stay active, and discover the joy of movement.

Theatrical, stage, or on-camera performance experience is a plus!

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience or equivalent experience in dance instruction, choreography, or performance.

Relevant dance fitness or group exercise certification preferred.

Current CPR certification required.

AFAA and/or ACE certification strongly recommended for applicable group fitness formats.

Willingness to learn and follow Crunch's group fitness standards and safety guidelines.

Compensation: $55-$100 per class based on experience, education, and the number of formats and classes taught weekly.
