We are seeking a Group Home Administrator/Direct Care Staff to join our team! The Group Home Administrator oversees the group home's daily operations and activities while providing direct care and supervision to youth. This position works closely with other team members to ensure residents' needs are met and the home remains compliant with applicable state and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience in residential care or management, and familiarity with group home regulations and social services.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the group home.
Provide direct care, supervision, and support to youth residing in the home.
Monitor and support daily routines, activities, appointments, and household needs.
Work closely with team members to ensure the needs of youth are being met.
Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and agency policies.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and required reports.
Assist with staff scheduling and basic administrative duties.
Participate in staff interviews and onboarding as needed.
Support a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment within the home.
Communicate with DCS, schools, behavioral health providers, families, and other service providers as appropriate.
Respond appropriately to behavioral concerns, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with agency policies.
Qualifications – Required
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility to obtain one.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification.
Initial Health Care Screening Training.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
Personal automobile with valid auto insurance.
Successful completion of a physical examination and signed Physician Statement.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.
Completion of required Criminal Affidavit.
Completion and authorization of required background checks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Ability to meet the physical and scheduling requirements of a direct-care position.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in residential care, group home operations, or management.
Familiarity with regulations governing group homes and social services.
Experience working with youth or vulnerable populations.
