The Residential Coordinator/Group Home Manager is a full-time, salaried leadership position responsible for overseeing the safe, effective, and person-centered operation of assigned residential group homes. This position reports to the Regional Director and supervises approximately 8–10 Direct Support Professionals, Lead DSPs, and other assigned residential employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of assigned group homes and ensure members receive safe, respectful, and high-quality services.
• Protect each member’s health, safety, dignity, rights, independence, and quality of life.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate residential employees.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, orient, and train new employees.
• Maintain safe 24-hour staffing coverage and required staff-to-member ratios.
• Prepare and monitor employee schedules, attendance, call-offs, payroll records, and overtime.
• Respond promptly to staffing shortages, emergencies, critical incidents, and urgent member needs.
• Provide direct program or staffing support when necessary to maintain member safety and required coverage.
• Ensure compliance with Arizona DDD, AHCCCS, HCBS, HIPAA, licensing requirements, and Embrace Life policies and procedures.
• Review employee and member documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
• Conduct regular home inspections, quality-control reviews, and compliance audits.
• Report, investigate, document, and follow up on incidents, employee concerns, and corrective actions.
• Support members with complex behavioral, medical, and daily living needs while ensuring their individual service plans are followed.
• Maintain household budgets, groceries, meal planning, supplies, inventory, and other program resources.
• Communicate professionally and consistently with members, employees, families, guardians, Support Coordinators, healthcare providers, and company leadership.
• Conduct team meetings, provide ongoing training, and ensure employees complete all required company and regulatory training.
• Provide meaningful recommendations regarding employee hiring, discipline, promotion, advancement, and separation.
• Submit required operational, staffing, compliance, incident, and financial reports by established deadlines.
This leadership position may require occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, on-call availability, or additional hours due to emergencies, staffing shortages, critical incidents, regulatory matters, meetings, or other operational needs.

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory, management, residential, behavioral health, developmental disability, or direct-care experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to satisfy all applicable background, fingerprint-clearance, training, certification, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and travel between assigned residential locations.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage competing priorities.

• Strong leadership, employee-supervision, and team-development skills.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, training, coaching, and evaluating employees.
• Knowledge of residential services, person-centered planning, member rights, and developmental disability services.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to use scheduling, timekeeping, email, reporting, and online training systems.
