    If you enjoy being the person who keeps group details on track and helps deliver a great guest experience, we would love to have you join our team as the Group Housing Manager at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown.
     
    The Group Housing Manager oversees group room blocks, reservations, and billing coordination. This role works closely with our Sales, Convention Services, Front Desk, Revenue Management, and Accounting teams to make sure group details are accurate from the first booking through final billing.
    The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, keeping complex details organized, and providing responsive service to meeting planners, wedding clients, and housing partners.
     
    What You’ll Do:
    • Manage group room blocks, monitor pickup, and balance room inventory.
    • Enter rooming lists, process reservation changes, and create booking links for groups and weddings.
    • Serve as a primary contact for assigned citywide and rooms-only groups, including coordination with Visit Indy Housing and other housing companies.
    • Prepare group resumes, reports, and event documentation as needed.
    • Communicate reservation, billing, VIP, and special request details to the appropriate hotel teams.
    • Review group no-shows, complete post-event audits, and help resolve discrepancies.
    • Coordinate group and wedding billing, including master accounts, applicable concessions, commissions, rebates, and supporting documentation.
    • Prepare crew reservations from provided manifests.
    • Month end crew billing reconciliation
    • Commission and Rebate invoice processing and accrual reporting
    What We’re Looking For:
    • Experience in hotel group reservations, group housing, convention services, or a related role.
    • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
    • The ability to manage multiple deadlines while responding promptly to clients and coworkers.
    • Confidence working across hotel departments and with outside housing partners.
    • Experience with Opera and Amadeus preferred. Familiarity with Passkey, Concerto, EventPipe is a plus.
    Requirements
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
    • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High attention to detail and confidentiality
