Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance - Crew E
Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing facility during the Crew E shift. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production objectives, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise the facilities and maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventory levels, and procurement of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Oversee critical facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.
- Mentor, coach, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, inspections, and repair documentation through CMMS systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and facility performance.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building systems.
- Experience utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to manage maintenance activities.
- Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and support off-shift maintenance needs when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Training or certification in maintenance reliability, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing facility improvement projects and contractor relationships.
Compensation
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $108,877 - $163,316. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geographic location, and overall business needs.
