Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance - Crew G

Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a manufacturing facility during the Crew G shift. This leader will be responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, ensuring equipment and facility reliability, supporting production objectives, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance and facilities technicians to ensure timely, safe, and effective completion of maintenance activities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage maintenance-related budgets, inventory, and procurement of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Oversee facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and other building infrastructure systems.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate corrective actions to restore operations.
  • Train, coach, and mentor maintenance team members while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, inspection reports, and work order documentation within the maintenance management system.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility building systems.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing contractor relationships and facility improvement projects.
  • Certification in a maintenance, facilities, or safety-related discipline is a plus.
Compensation
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $108,877 - $163,316. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and overall business needs.
