    Description

    This position is responsible for the basic coordination of activities of employees engaged in Material Prep.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and Amphenol's company safety regulations.
    • Perform and/or learn all the operations associated with the Insulation and Material Prep.
    • Drive continuous improvement in the department to meet department as well as business goals.
    • Safe work habits/operate under high safety standards.
    • Cycle count assignments, tracking and verifying.
    • Expired material management for material and insulation prep including Pre-preg
    • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
    • This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
    • May be required to cross train in other departments.
    • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
    • Proven leadership abilities, prior group leader or coordinator experience.
    • Forklift and power pallet jack license or training.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and organization skills in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to maintain/develop reports/analyze data - Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Outlook/Word/Excel.
    • Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 35 lbs. safely.
    • 2+ years of PCB experience with prior Material Prep experience preferred.
