We are looking to hire a Group Manager - Communications - Global functions immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Global Communications, the Group Manager - Communications, Global Functions is responsible for leading strategic internal and functional communications, with a primary focus on partnering with HR to help drive employee programs & engagement, organizational alignment, and culture initiatives across the company. This role serves as a trusted advisor to HR leadership and senior executives, shaping and delivering communications strategies that support key people initiatives including talent, culture, change management, and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated global communications strategies aligned with HR and enterprise priorities
  • Serve as the primary communications partner to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and HR leadership team
  • Translate business and HR strategies into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across diverse global audiences; Provide counsel to senior leaders on messaging, positioning, and internal engagement approaches
  • Lead creation of high-impact content, including executive communications, campaigns, and thought leadership
  • Support functional internal communications channels (e.g., intranet, leadership communications, digital platforms, town halls)
  • Ensure effective localization of messaging for global and regional employee audiences
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate communications effectiveness and engagement
  • Leverage insights and feedback to continuously improve communications strategies and channels
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and regional teams to ensure cohesion

Qualifications:

  • BA Communications, Marketing
  • 7+ years broad experience in professional writing in Communications
  • Requires excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to influence
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and multiple levels within the organization
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the food industry including competitors
  • In-depth knowledge of McC Corporation and our global businesses
  • Some experience dealing with the Media and external stakeholders
  • Must be able to lead and influence, while maintaining a high level of collaboration with internal clients
  • Must be an exceptional strategic thought leader and communicator
  • Must be able to work across functions, in a highly matrix environment

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
