Join us and let's work together to make Showboat resort the premier choice for families and fun seekers looking for unforgettable experiences.Showboat Core ValuesFriendly Focused – we are committed to creating a fun environment that embraces families and children of all ages.Kindness Focused – we demonstrate kindness in everything we do, seeking to uplift and support all of those around us.Team Spirit – we foster a respectful workplace where team members work together to exceed our guest's expectations.Hearts that Serve – we are driven by a passion to bring joy and happiness to the guests that we serve.Take Ownership – we take full responsibility for our actions and the resulting outcomes, embracing personal accountability.Required skills/qualificationsMust be 18+; HS diploma/equivalent (college coursework preferred)1–2 years in hospitality, sales support, or admin preferredStrong organization, multitasking, detail, and communication skillsMicrosoft Office proficiency; hotel sales/PMS familiarity is a plusFlexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays as needed)Team-oriented with ability to collaborate across departments.Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.Key responsibilitiesSupport group sales efforts through prospecting (networking tools, calls, mailings, referrals, etc.)Prepare and send group contracts, proposals, confirmations, and related documentsCoordinate room blocks, meeting space, and event detailsMaintain accurate entries in sales/PMS systemsTrack rooming lists, deposits, and payment timelines; assist with billing setup and final invoicesShare group details with internal teams (front desk, housekeeping, banquet/catering, and management)Assist with site inspections, client communications, files, and reports; respond to inquiries with great serviceTo coordinate all amenity deliveries to groups along with the Hotel Front Desk.To ensure correct booking procedures are implemented including group room and meeting program historyTo ensure that all credit and collection procedures that have been established by the hotel are implementedCoordinate all internal and external correspondence, BEOs, incoming mail, and other administrative duties for the Sales Department.To maintain complete and supported records of all correspondence, sales agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotels.
