TITLE: Sales Coordinator
LOCATION: Cottonwood Corporate Center- Corporate Office
STATUS: Hourly, Full-time, Year-Round
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Group Sales, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for actively generating and closing business through outbound and inbound sales efforts while supporting the Group Sales team. This role owns defined sales initiatives, manages select client segments, and serves as a front-line representative of the resort, contributing directly to revenue growth, guest experience, and achievement of departmental sales goals.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Coordinator is a customer-facing sales professional responsible for driving revenue and representing the resort brand.
Engage prospective and existing clients to identify needs and recommend appropriate resort products and services
Qualify leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance benchmarks
Upsell and cross-sell lift tickets, activities, and resort experiences
Build and maintain ongoing client relationships
Own designated sales initiatives, promotions, or market segments
Process bookings, contracts, and transactions with accuracy and efficiency
Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for the resort across all client touch points
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Answer phones, greet walk-ins, and manage inbound sales inquiries with a focus on conversion.
Owning the voucher creation process for all Group Sales Orders, and ensuring Amadeus reflects orders accurately based on consumption.
Assisting in the sales process for ticket only groups- sending Voucher Order invoices, Credit Card Authorizations and troubleshooting any queries related to the voucher redemption process.
During high-demand periods coordinating inter-departmentally for leisure groups booking rentals, lessons or other leisure activities.
Qualify, contract, and fulfill ticket-only group orders of 15-25 tickets or fewer during high demand periods.
Actively prospect throughout the year using LinkedIn, Knowland, and targeted outreach, as well as attendance at sales conferences and industry events as needed.
Support outbound sales initiatives and assist in executing promotions designed to drive incremental revenue.
Interact consistently with clients, customers, and resort guests in person, by phone, and electronically.
Coordinate client accommodations, ground transportation, spa treatments, amenities, and other on‑resort experiences for site visits and hosted events.
Prepare for and conduct site tours when required, effectively showcasing the resort and its offerings.
Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to support larger accounts and overall departmental goals.
Assist Sales Managers with CRM updates following sales missions, client meetings, and outreach efforts.
Support the Director of Group Sales and Senior Business Development Manager with promotion setup, tracking, reporting, and special sales projects.
Maintain accuracy and consistency across sales systems and internal reporting tools.
Work across multiple sales and hospitality platforms, including but not limited to RTP, Delphi FDC, SMS HOST, Aspenware, SendSites, Wrike, Image Relay, and Duetto.
Help maintain and update Group Sales content across key platforms, including the resort website, Visit Salt Lake, and CVENT.
Ensure sales materials and digital content remain current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
Travel occasionally to and from the resort and to sales conferences or events as required.
Participate in department initiatives and remain flexible to support evolving sales and client needs in a dynamic resort environment.
